Nedvang

Nedvang literally stands for 'The Netherlands from Waste to Resource'. We register and encourage the collection and recycling of all packaging waste in the Netherlands. In doing so, we pay attention to quality, quantity and return.

Our organization

Nedvang consists of a team of driven people. With our office in Rotterdam as a permanent base, we are active throughout the country with municipalities and waste companies.

Mission

Nedvang registers and stimulates the collection and recycling of packaging waste in the Netherlands. With reliable figures, targeted expertise and a broad network, we support municipalities and waste companies in optimizing their performance. For example, we are working on a future-proof recycling chain for packaging.

Vision

Whether it concerns a jar of gel, soup can or wine bottle: packaging waste can become raw material again. A circular economy for packaging requires collaboration, knowledge and innovation. Nedvang is committed to this on behalf of the packaging industry. Together we bring the Netherlands from waste to raw material.

Our origin

In 2006, producer responsibility for packaging was established by law. Nedvang was founded to implement this decision. We have now managed to significantly improve the collection and recycling of packaging. Instead of working with one company, we now work together on behalf of the Packaging Waste Fund in a complete chain to fulfill the producer responsibility: the Waste Management Structure.
