Collier Quarrying and Recycling LTD

Collier Quarrying and Recycling LTD was established from the background of farming and bulk haulage. In 2007 we purchased our first quarry and began recycling demolition and site materials into usable aggregate and sub base materials. In June 2010 planning permission was granted to extract dolerite whin stone from our now main operating base at Goathill Quarry, Cowdenbeath. We now have the facility to offer high quality virgin stone and concrete products while continuing to recycle as much construction material as we can take in. While we use heavy industrial equipment we continually seek to be environmentally friendly and run the Euro 6 Trucks to reduce exhaust emissions. We have a wind turbine on site to create renewable energy and we are investing heavily in static plant connected to the electric supply. We have planted thousands of trees all over our site and as they grow they will screen the quarry in an environmentally friendly way. We are very proud of our operation here at Goathill Quarry and we love to hear visitors compliments about the site.

We have our own maintenance section within the site thus helping to reduce carbon emissions which is true to our company values, this helps to give us a quick response to breakdowns.
