Local Authority Recycling Centres are providing limited service, sometimes with long ques. The SDL garden waste collection service has run normal operations throughout the virus emergency and provides a convinient alternative.

SDL has been providing reliable, low cost garden waste collection and recycling services in your area since 1984. Choose which of our services meets your needs.

SDL Regular Garden Waste Service

This is how it works. You buy some stong SDL Garden Bags to gather your waste as you do your gardening. These bags are 88 Ltrs, just the right size to lift and carry when full. You also need to pay for the bag empties. A scan ticket is attached to each of the bags supplied. You will receive instructions by email and a customer number.

When you need a collection use the form on the home page stating your surname and customer number, issued to you when you join.

Before or early on your collection day, place your bag/s near your front gate or other suitable spot. Our driver comes along, empties your bag/s, scans a ticket and records the nember of bags you have put out.  then returns the empty bags to you for re-use. It is as easy as that!

SDL was one of the first UK green waste recycling schemes, established in 1999, covering Torbay and the South Hams in South Devon UK.

We pride ourselves on excellent customer service which is why many of our first customers are still with us. The material we collect is taken to a green waste composting site, shredded, turned and screened. When the process is complete the compost is spread on farm land providing food for your table.
