Griffin Stringer Ltd is a family owned and operated metal and waste merchant based in Leicester, UK. We boast a customer list encompassing a variety of entities from precision engineering to heavy industrial fabrication and multinational power generation to local public sector organisations.

Established in 1836, we have grown to employ a team highly skilled in managing all aspects of ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycling and waste management. From our yard located in the midst of the UK's industrial heartland, we offer collection of scrap metals and waste from companies spread over a 200 mile radius, all collected by our fleet of skip and rollon-off wagons. We are proud to operate on a completely 'non-cash' basis in line with forthcoming government legislation. 

We pride ourselves on our highly competitive prices and exceptional service and are able to provide customer and banking references on request. In addition, we are proud to say we are ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 accredited and are recognised as an 'Investor in People' by the East Midlands Regional Recognition Panel.

We offer full waste management collection services including collection of general waste, cardboard and plastic through our partners, as well as offering plant dismantling, site clearance and transport services.
