We are a plasterboard recycling business who can provide an integrated or stand-alone service either collecting material from construction sites using either bags or skips and we can provide a closed loop alternative by recycling the material and returning it to plasterboard manufacturers for use in new product production.

SUSTAINABILITY

Unlike other recycled materials, such as paper and plastics, gypsum-based products can be recycled an unlimited amount of times allowing for a true sustainable alternative to landfill.

The process involves the crushing, sieving and separation of the gypsum core from the paper. The paper is separated using both a sieve and air separation process ensuring the material is suitable for alternative uses.

Crucible Gypsum Recycling Limited works closely with a large worldwide plasterboard manufacturer to ensure that once recycled the material is properly utilised in the production process, whilst working to support developments to achieve higher ratios of recycled gypsum.
