Our History

Wrights Recycling Machinery’s owner and founder Russell & Linda Ridley started life granulating cables and was processing over 50 ton a week of Pyro cable, this in time led to the creation of the “Super Stripper” range of cable stripping machines. We Manufacture the ORIGINAL Super Stripper range of cable/wire stripping equipment!!

The range of our standard models have the capability of stripping cables from 1mm – 150mm, and we can also manufacture bespoke cable strippers to strip/process cables up to 250mm. Our range of Cable Strippers is growing with additional models all the time. Current models include the Super Stripper 600,the Super Stripper 300, the Super Stripper 170, the small but mighty Super Stripper 60 and T.T-Table Top cable stripping machine‘s, the latest addition is the Mini Drill Stripper a small cable stripper that is operated from a drill, suitable for electricians and small electrical companies that want to strip cables from 1mm up to 25mm diameter to get a better return on there cut-offs of copper cable.

With the ever changing markets and customers demand for high quality goods with a reliable and trustworthy service we are now agents for Shear balers, Car balers, Portable Cutters, Demolition Shears and Grab’s/attachments.

We supply Granulators for plastics, and also Granulation & Separation systems for the non-ferrous industry with a wide range of systems ranging from small outputs of 60kg per hour up to 2000kg per hour. We have a wide range of products including Cable Strippers, Reel Splitters, Alligator Shears,Granulators, Shredders and more.

Who We Are

Wrights Recycling Machinery Limited are a British manufacturer of recycling machinery. The family run business. We design and manufactures its own range of cable stripping machinery, single shaft shredders, feeders, separation plants and conveyor systems for waste, ferrous and non-ferrous companies. We have a network of partners throughout the world, promoting & selling our machinery.

Our onsite design team, are able to design bespoke recycling systems to suit clients requirements, we then manufacture and install recycling systems provided with full training, back up and after care given. Russell Ridley is the founder of Wrights Recycling Machinery, with over 50 years’ experience in metal recycling, Linda his wife and children Jason and Naomi all work for the company, all bringing their individual strengths to form the company, we are confident we can cater for all your recycling requirements.

Our team of engineers have a combined total of 96 years’ experience working with Wrights, bringing together a knowledgeable team ready to serve you.
