Waste management has moved a long way since Paul Clements founded our Great Yarmouth business in 1979.

Recycling, tougher environmental requirements and sophisticated new equipment mean that East Coast Waste (incorporating Clem's Skips) has also developed to retain its role as one of the largest private businesses of its type in the Norfolk area.

Now we offer a total waste management service.

In spite of our advanced technology and modern thinking, we take pride in keeping close to our roots with a family-run business, friendly personal response to every inquiry, prompt service and a busy Great Yarmouth base.  

Customers have benefited from Great Yarmouth's first independently operated purpose-built waste transfer station and recycling centre which we established in 1989. It is now supported by a second transfer station at Great Yarmouth's Eurocentre.

Whether tackling your major commercial and industrial contracts or one-off single item domestic removals, we specialise in every key aspect of the waste business, working safely, effectively and in the most environmentally friendly way.

Our services in waste management are built on extensive expertise developed over 30 years with experienced and knowledgeable staff and highly professional and helpful managers. They liaise closely with the customers to give the best possible service every time.

Your waste is handled in the most effective and environmentally friendly way and our operations, services and products comply with all the required licensing rules and regulations under the Environmental Protection Act.

Additionally, we are WAMITAB holders and members of CIWM, RHA, Norfolk Trusted Traders, and the Safe Contractors Scheme operated by Contractors Plus.

We also hold extra liability insurance to let us operate on quaysides and obtain road permits.

The business was founded by Paul Clements as Clem's Skips in 1979.

Skip hire is now incorporated into East Coast Waste and we believe the range of what we can offer, the speed of delivery and our attention to detail is second to none in this area.
