Bage Plastics GmbH

The company bage plastics was founded as Austria's first recycler of plastic waste from disused cooling devices . Bage is now one of the largest refrigerator recycling companies in Europe. Every year we process plastics from around 6 million discarded cooling devices in our plants in Austria into high-quality recyclates made of PS, ABS, PP for extrusion and injection molding applications .

At our German location in Großschirma, we are also able to process over 20,000 tonnes of plastics from small electrical appliances, which are also recycled in the last processing step into high-quality plastic granules made of PS, ABS and PP .

The basic idea and goal of our business is that plastic waste can become the products that it already was. We make a valuable contribution to this with the annual recycling of plastics from electrical and electronic scrap and their recycling into high-quality plastic recyclates.

We produce various standard regranulates from PS, ABS, PP and various compounds according to customer requirements. We continuously  develop new product recipes for special applications together with our customers. Our customers are plastics processors who use our products in injection molding or extrusion. Our products can replace new raw materials up to 100%, so our customers can reduce their raw material costs considerably and also produce in an environmentally friendly way.
