Suffolk family business Bolton Bros has built a successful recycling and processing operation out of its purpose-built recycling centres in Suffolk. Founded in 1969 by Michael Bolton Senior, the firm has grown into one of the leading and most knowledgeable recycling and waste management businesses in the area.

As one of East Anglia’s largest family owned recycling and waste management companies, the company can recycle a minimum of 95% of all recyclable materials collected. This embraces all types of paper, cardboard, plastic and scrap metal. In addition, the company also offers a full waste management service for all non-recyclable materials for Waste to Energy as well as hazardous materials. Operating from their 9-acre site in Gt Blakenham the business employs over 50 staff and deals with a global network of customers, processing over 1000 tonnes of recyclables & general waste per week.

Today the business is overseen by Michael Bolton Seniors’ children. Commercial Director, Reuben Bolton, joined the business at 16 and today, manages the day to day commercial operations of both sites. Oliver oversees operations at the recycling depots and daughter Jodi is head of HR and Finance. Michael Senior remains as Chairman.
