It also states that CRT monitors are classed as Hazardous waste, therefore the recycling agent you use must be fully licensed with the Environment Agency, in order to be able to handle this equipment and be fully compliant with the WEEE Regulations. Companies that collect waste must be registered waste carriers and their site must have an environmental permit or an appropriate registered exemption.
