PRM Green Technologies
16a Watling Street Business Park, Cannock, Staffordshire, United Kingdom | IT Recycling
PRM Green Technologies’ IT recycling has now disposed of equipment from over 8,000 different school, colleges and universities across the entire UK, saving thousands of tonnes of computer waste from going to landfill sites by recycling computers, monitors and other IT equipment.
In March 2009 PRM Green technologies introduced their National FREE Collection scheme to offer a one stop disposal service to all schools, colleges, and universities in the UK. This scheme has enabled smaller LEA’s the opportunity to receive a service previously only available to large LEA’s and corporations. As computer brokers we are at the forefront of reusing and recycling computers and monitors.
In Sept 2009 We expanded into the corporate market, by offering business the same level of service that we currently offer our LEA’s and schools.
We now facilitate the WEEE collections for several county, district and city councils, as well as many commercial bodies. With our expertise we have been able to offer massive cost savings to all our corporate and education customers as well as providing services to the NHS Supply Chain and several NHS trusts across the UK in an effort to reduce costs in the public sector even further.
We now also work closely with selected third party facilitators to provide end to end compliance on their behalf for their clients, including many IT specialist support providers, as well as hardware distributors.
Throughout 2010 we underwent a rapid expansion programme, enabling us to react quickly and efficiently to our clients’ demands. Operating a larger fleet with enhanced facilities with greater space to cope with demand, out of 7 warehouses we have been able to deal with every level of disposal request, including complete school / site clearances, for which we can provide a survey team free of charge. Just call us to enquire about this extra free service.
In 2012 we have grown further and at the end of the year, after an ever growing demand from all sectors we have moved into one purpose built, larger, warehouse with greater offices able to hold our rapidly expanding team of dedicated individuals, in Cannock, Staffordshire. This unit has been chosen with an eye to improving the overall service, along with greatly enhanced links to all major road networks, we can offer a quicker and more flexible service to all our service users.
We are pleased to announce that we are now an Authorised Treatment Facility, permit number EPR/MB3039RL, which enables us to cope with the ever increasing amounts of equipment we are able to process, and further increases the cost savings we are achieving for every service user we have. We had the further honour of having our Facility officially opened by the Member of Parliament for Cannock Chase, Aidan Burley MP, on the 8th of February 2013.
PRM Green Technologies Ltd has recently been accredited with the ADISA Version 7.0 standard in addition to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, BS EN 15713 and ISO 45001 accreditations. We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to every team member for their hard work and diligence in delivering the strict standards required for these achievements.
