Company history

2014  Expansion of the company to include a cable and wood processing plant

2013  Certification as waste management company and quality management 15th anniversary

2011  Company anniversary 100 years of Schneemann Recycling GmbH

2008  Expansion of the storage area for containers by 11,000 m² 

2000  Enlargement of the storage area and expansion of the waste catalog for acceptance and recycling.

1998  First certification according to quality management and waste management company

1995  Handover of the company to the daughter Maria Schaper.

1993  Enlargement of the site to approx. 20,000 m² of land. Construction of a waste handling and sorting facility.

1991  Expansion of the offer through the acceptance and sale of recycling material, implementation of crushing work.

1988  Conversion of the sole proprietorship to Schneemann Recycling GmbH.

1978  Expansion of the company with the container service.

1970  The company moves out of the city center and opens a recycling center with an office building and warehouse, the first car recycling facility.

1960  Mrs. Therese Schneemann, b. Günther, takes over the company from her father Heinrich Günther. 

1939  Heinrich Günther took over his mother's business. 

1911  Therese Günther founded the year trading in scrap, metals and textiles.
