COMPANY HISTORY

The OAG was founded in 1992. Until December 31, 2015, it was a private joint venture between the companies Städtereinigung Holtmeyer (HHG) and Meyer Abfall in the context of a project-related vertical disintegration.

Since 1996 the OAG has been commissioned to sort and recycle the accumulating bulky waste for the Osnabrück district.

From 1997 the OAG took over the tasks of hazardous waste and pollutant disposal from households independently, previously the partners carried out this work. In 1998 the certification as a waste management company was added.

Location expansion 2008: The OAG moves into another hall on Elbestrasse in Osnabrück, together with the partner Meyer Disposal, where the company still has its place of activity.

The OAG has been responsible for the collection of light sales packaging (LVP) for the
Opens external link in a new windowdual systems (yellow sack) in the Osnabrück city area since 2010 . In addition, the future LVP collection was commissioned for the period 2017-2019.

Since January 1, 2016, OAG has been a 100% subsidiary of the company Opens external link in a new windowMeyer Disposal, Osnabrück. In 2016, a research project on the recycling of bulky waste was successfully carried out in cooperation with the DBU ( Opens external link in a new windowGerman Federal Environment Foundation ). The OAG also offers its services to other waste management companies in this region.
