With the change from classic waste management to a future-oriented, environmentally friendly circular economy, we are recovering energy and raw materials at two locations in Gießen, thereby protecting natural deposits and resources.

With our services, products and treatment facilities, we make an important contribution to the sustainable development of our economy and society. In a modern industrial society, waste disposal has to be more than just landfilling. We can no longer afford this way of handling our resources, neither ecologically nor economically. That is why we are primarily concerned with preventing waste as much as possible. The optimal recycling of the unavoidable residues is only the second step for us.

Energy and raw materials are recovered, thus conserving natural deposits and resources. Processing of waste with existing plant technology and energetic utilization of substitute fuels, the sorting, processing and material recycling of paper, glass, wood, plastics or metals are additional building blocks for maintaining an intact environment. This means that valuable livelihoods are preserved for future generations.
