Emerging from a trading company for fuels of all kinds, which was founded in 1890, the Chr. Schmid company has developed into a modern service company over the decades.

Constant further development as a key factor

As early as 1920, the program was expanded to include trading in scrap and metal waste. Container service and waste disposal were added from the mid-1960s. The current managing directors in particular are responsible for the innovative and consistent restructuring and modernization of the company.
