Company Philosophy

The Seger company presents itself as a traditional family business with over 130 jobs, which was founded in 1927 by Mr. Bernhard Seger in the Brno district of Munich.

With Eustach and Johanna, as well as Theo and Gertrud Seger, the 2nd generation made the continuation of the company their purpose in life.

On January 1, 2000, Christine and Bernhard Seger took over their fathers' shares and renamed the company Seger Transporte GmbH & Co. KG .

On January 1, 2006, the partner Bernhard Seger sold his shares to Joachim Seger and Christine Seger.

The owners were and are always anxious to use synergy effects through a diverse and forward-looking company policy and to recognize market changes at an early stage.

The company with tradition is now managed in the 3rd generation by the managing directors Joachim Seger and Christine Seger.

With more than  30 own vehicles  and over 130 employees , innovation and teamwork are a matter of course for the management.

Compliance with standards ensures consistent quality , which is extremely important for achieving the annual DIN certificate.

The environmental protection is a fixed ver ankertes operating target. With a photovoltaic system, two combined heat and power plants and training courses for truck drivers to drive ahead, Seger takes responsibility for the environment and social issues.

Company History

In 1927 the Seger company was founded in the Brno district of Munich. The flour from their own mill and later other agricultural products and building materials were transported by horse and cart.

In 1950 the two sons Theo and Eustach Seger joined the company and it was renamed Bernhard Seger & Söhne OHG.

In the next 50 years, the company grew steadily and opened up new areas of responsibility. In 2000, Eustach and Theo Seger put the company in the hands of the third generation: Bernhard Seger and Christine Seger take over the legacy of their fathers and change their name to Seger Transporte GmbH & Co. KG.

Today - after 90 years of company history - Christine Seger and Joachim Seger run the company together and operate a diverse and forward-looking company policy. A value-oriented corporate culture, employee participation, environmental protection and teamwork are just as natural for them as compliance with standards. This is the only way to guarantee high quality.
