OUR HISTORY

The sole proprietorship was founded in 1957 by the senior partner, Georg Merkel.

As one of the first waste management companies which set firm MERKEL even then dust-free collection vehicles into the cities and towns, a hitherto revolutionary environmental solution.

An environmentally and system-compatible municipal disposal began.

From 1968 the range of services was expanded and the area of ​​commercial and industrial waste disposal for companies was included.

In 1992 the second generation, the son of the company founder, Frank Merkel, took over the further responsible development of the company.

He and his employees expanded the company to include today's medium-sized companies, to one of the most modern and efficient waste management companies in the region.
