MONTELLO S.P.A.

Montello S.p.A. is an Italian company that operates in the recovery and recycling of organic waste (FORSU) field and post-consumer plastic packaging, both from recycling. Montello S.p.A. owns two production sites, the most important of which built in 1996 and developed on 450,000 m² (120,000 m² of which are covered) and is located in Montello (BG). The second site, located in Stradella (PV), stands on an area of ​​approximately 30,000 m² (of which 6,000 m² covered) and is focused in the recycling of HDPE polymer waste, coming from the selection of plastic packaging post-consumer from recycling, with an annual recycling capacity of approximately 27,000 tons.

In 1998, Montello SpA was the first Italian company to apply mechanical systems and Near Infrared (NIR) type optical detectors to the selection process and was awarded the first Sustainable Development Award in 2008 and 2018, sponsored by the President of the Republic, for innovative technologies applied to this industry field.
