PFR Nord GmbH

Böternhöfen 13 , Hohenwestedt, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany | Plastic Recycling

PFR (PET bottles recycling) Nord GmbH was founded in late 2011.

On a newly paved area of approx. 30,000 sqm, 5,000 sqm of production and storage halls were built. The plant technology is based on the latest technology.

PET bottles in bales, loose and briquetted are accepted, the flakes produced are of optimal purity and quality, suitable for further processing into food-grade packaging material or regranulate.

In our state-of-the-art facility, quality flakes are made from beverage bottles.

Several automatic NIR sorters and several NE and FE separators ensure optimum sorting depth and purity. The shredding stages and the hot washing lines including all equipment were supplied by well-known German and Austrian plant manufacturers.

The plant went into operation in summer 2013.

PET bottles from the one-way deposit system, mineral fountains and bottlers serve as input material.

In our own laboratory, the automatically and manually taken samples are subjected to extensive testing.

The partners of PFR Nord GmbH, Christian and Andreas Mensing have been dealing with plastic recycling since 2001.

The group of companies includes one of the largest German plastics trading companies, TM Recycling GmbH ( www.tm-recycling.com ), also located at the Hohenwestedt location. About 120,000 tons of plastics are marketed there annually, both in Asia and within Europe.
