Company portrait of Franz Peine GmbH
The Peine company was founded in Bad Arolsen in November 1974 and entered in the commercial register at the local court in Arolsen on February 7, 1974.
It started with the sale of heating oil , diesel fuel and coal. In addition, the decision was made to continue the waste paper trade that had been taken over from the predecessor. In the early days, the waste paper was picked up loosely in a box van from small and medium-sized businesses and compressed into bales according to the qualities of mixed paper, department store paper and corrugated cardboard.
In the mid-eighties, the business was expanded by a container service . The container sizes range from 7 to 16 to 30 m³ containers, open containers, with lids and presses. These are made available at large commercial enterprises and department stores for the detection of paper and foils. Furthermore, the containers are used for the transport of rubble and construction site waste, municipal waste and commercial waste.
To rationalize the loose collection at the smaller shops, a press vehicle with a filling for 5 m³ containers was purchased at the same time.
With the increasing environmental awareness, the range of our company also grew.
The company was expanded to collect foamed polystyrene, plastic and metal strips.
Over the years the company developed so that another container vehicle could be purchased to handle the amount of transports. Due to official requirements, the company was forced to carry out extensive renovation measures at the site where the railway was founded.
Since a further expansion of the Peine company in the field of recycling of materials is planned and this was not possible due to lack of space at the old location, planning began in June 1996 to move the company to the newly developed industrial area 'Am Ankenberg', Bad Arolsen.
As part of the change of location, which took place in December 1997, the company was restructured. The son of the Franz Peine family actively joined the company after completing his studies in the 'Technical Environmental Protection' department . A GmbH was founded, in which the father and son each share half. In addition, both partners are also employed as managing directors.
On the company premises at Ankenberg, it is now possible to temporarily store various types of waste in the sorting hall and put them together to form larger transport units. The number of types of waste that are accepted and disposed of has increased significantly.
All waste flows are precisely recorded and documented with our own weighbridge.
In addition to the newly created waste disposal company, a new tank system with a public petrol station and a public washing area for vehicles has now been built on the Ankenberg site.
In April 2002, a large plastic mill for grinding hard plastics was purchased and put into operation. Here, production waste is ground by the local plastics processing companies. The regrind is sold to plastic injection companies for the new processing of the plastics.
