With the certification as a waste management company in 2000 (according to the Waste Management Company Ordinance, EfbV), the Kockmann GmbH acquires a seal of approval according to a nationwide procedure that confirms the quality and traceability of the selected disposal channels.

The expansion of the company premises (2005), the acquisition and the establishment of new companies form the basis for the expansion of the range of services and products.

Kockmann GmbH now operates several circular economy plants approved in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act on an area of around 50,000 m².

The Köllmann Transporte GmbH (acquired in 2002), the container service and waste disposal company Dankbar (acquired in 2003), the Energenta Ersatzbrennstoffe GmbH (founded in 2004) and the Emrec GmbH acquired in 2007, with headquarters in Dortmund, have become part of the group or have joined as partners.
