Cardic Machine Products, Inc.

Cardic Machine Products (CMP) is a certified ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D high precision machining company that has been serving the aerospace and commercial industry in southern California since 1951. CMP was incorporated on October 30, 1951 by Carl Waldeck and Richard Bouck. The name Cardic came from combining the first 3 letters of the original owner’s names, Carl Waldeck (CAR) and Richard “Dick” Bouck (DIC).

Richard sold his shares to Carl in August of 1952, making Carl sole owner until December of 1995, when Ken Cooper and Martin Abrahamson took ownership of CMP. In January of 2003, Ken Cooper passed away leaving Martin Abrahamson as the sole owner of CMP. January 1, 2011, the legacy of CMP continues with Joseph Trumpio at the helm as its new owner. Joe brings 35 years of extensive machining and management experience along with his passion and strong desire to see CMP remain in the market place for another 60 years.

Services & Capabilities

We provide machining services for Aerospace, Automotive and Commercial Industries.

In our plant we have four CNC Turning Centers with bar feeders and five Vertical Multi Axis Milling Machining Centers. We have two Jig Borers and one Jig Grinder. We have a complete Tool Room equipped with manual lathes, mills, grinders and a deburring department. Our Quality Inspection lab has a CMM and is fully equipped to inspect any part and provide you the data you need. We have a fully integrated MRP System which we utilize for our day to day operations.
