CSE Corporation

CSE Corporation was founded in 1969 by Sam Shearer, which had its beginnings in servicing and repairing safety equipment for mining companies. Sam having an entrepreneurial spirit, decided that CSE could develop its own, and superior, safety equipment. Its first products being gas detection equipment. 

CSE created a foundation on innovative products and has gone on to develop some of the first of its kind products, such as the digital combustible gas detector to the first person wearable self-contained self-rescuer. These very products have since recorded numerous successful life-saving events. Since its beginnings in an old gas station, CSE has grown to include more than 70 employees at its new 70,000 square foot, state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility located in Export, Pennsylvania.
