Who We Are

5D Mining & Construction, Inc. began as a spin-off from Dalmolin Excavating Corp in 2000, and over these past years has grown into one of the most respected contractors in the Copper Corridor area of Arizona. Throughout 5D’s history, we have moved dirt, poured concrete, welded pipe, erected steel, installed equipment, and maintained our clients’ facilities.

What We Do

We are a full service general contractor holding licenses in Arizona and New Mexico. Apart from electrical/instrumentation work, we manage and self-perform all aspects of our projects. Our management staff have over 100 years of combined experience performing the following types of projects:

• Earthmoving: mass excavation, fine grading, backfill, storm water, or finish work
• Concrete: flat work, foundations, walls, structures, and shotcrete
• HDPE Pipe: Fusing and installation from 2” to 36”
• Structural Steel: build new structures, repair existing structures, or modify old structures
• Mechanical: piping, gas handling duct, setting equipment, stainless steel, carbon, or special alloys
• Maintenance: shutdowns, normal day-to-day work, leach pads, water evaporation ponds, convertors, ball mills, and everything else in between
• Capital Project: anode scale, convertor gas handling, tailings lines, and booster stations are just some examples
