Forestry & exploration services GFE operates mainly in the regions of Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Nord-du-Québec, Outaouais and Hautes-Laurentides; working in both public and private forests. It offers, on the one hand, specialized forestry services which are mainly aimed at the various players in the forest industry (industrialists and forest entrepreneurs, municipal authorities, forest producers, forest cooperatives, etc.) and, on the other hand, services for mining exploration companies.

Forestry & exploration services GFE relies on the synergy created by the use of new technologies and traditional knowledge of the forest and exploration environment to offer professional, relevant and, above all, personalized services. It is thanks to considerable investments in cutting-edge technologies and in the constant search for new knowledge that the company succeeds in standing out.

Administration

Forest & Exploration Services GFE is a company managed by Mr. Olivier Lemieux. Mr. Lemieux has a college education in forest management from the Cégep de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Mr. Lemieux has acquired over the years solid experience in two main spheres of the natural resources field: the forest industry and mineral exploration.

In addition to his field experience and his knowledge of forestry and geology, Mr. Lemieux has acquired knowledge and experience in geomatics (integrated use of GPS technology and GIS geographic information systems) over the years.

Regarding his skills as a manager, it is important to specify that he acquired during his career enriching experiences in administration since he followed several trainings (administration and accounting) and sat on a few boards of directors (cooperatives and NPOs).
