MiningDistricts.com was created to unify the mining community through direct access to their local Mining Districts and to provide a common venue for communication, information and other needs of miners and mining clubs. Mining Districts are currently being re-staffed in many states – In many cases these districts were originally formed prior to official statehood. These districts are federally recognized government entities created to enforce local rules and customs enacted by miners in the district (US Code Title 30, Chapter 2, Section 22).
