Kelsey Terminus Mines
Calgary, Alberta, Canada | Iron Ore
Kelsey Terminus Mines is a privately held company who's 1,874 hectare claim encompasses the entire Kelsey Lake iron ore deposit.

The name was inspired by the explorer Henry Kelsey, the first non-native to explore this region.
The deposits were first studied in late 1950's.
The 1975/76 geological and geophysical exploration programs were initiated at the request of the Saskatchewan Government who took the project to final feasibility.
The iron is contained in Precambrian banded iron formation approximately 3000 feet below surface with magnetite hosted Fe grading of up to 35%.
A 1975 six hole exploratory drill program resulted in a reserve estimate of 390 million tons indicated and inferred at 159 million tons.
Infrastructure is nearby; the claims are 6 miles north of the village of Choiceland, Saskatchewan.
There is grid road access to the claim boundaries, hydro adjacent to boundary, natural gas and rail tracks are six miles or less from claim.
This is a new mining camp located in a mining friendly jurisdiction. The adjacent Rio Tinto diamond project recently gained provincial and federal environmental development permits.
