2013 Native American $1 Coin 500-Coin Box -Philadelphia (AC7)

Description:

This 2013 Native American $1 Coin 500-Coin Box is comprised of 500 coins -20 rolls of 25 circulating quality coins minted at the United States Mint at Philadelphia that have never been placed into circulation.

The 2013 Native American $1 Coin commemorates the Delaware Treaty of 1778. Its reverse design features a turkey, howling wolf and turtle (all symbols of the clans of the Delaware Tribe), and a ring of 13 stars to represent the Colonies.

The design inscriptions on the reverse (tails side) of the 2013 Native American $1 Coin are:

  • UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
  • $1
  • TREATY WITH THE DELAWARES
  • 1778

Please note: United States Mint coins are rolled by an automated machine process and not by hand; thus, we cannot guarantee that the obverse (heads side) or reverse (tails side) of a coin will be at either end of a coin roll.

In 2009, the United States Mint began minting and issuing $1 coins featuring designs celebrating the important contributions made by Indian tribes and individual Native Americans to the history and development of the United States. The Native American $1 Coin Program is authorized by the Native American $1 Coin Act (Public Law 110-82).
