Aris Mining Gold Production Surged 8% in Q1 2025
The robust production during the quarter reflects strong positive operational momentum heading into the year.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Aris Mining Corporation, a Vancouver-based company, released its first-quarter gold production numbers for the current year.
54,763 ounces of gold were produced by the business in the first quarter of 2025. Compared to the output of 50,767 ounces in the same quarter last year, this represents a considerable 8% increase. While 7,214 ounces of gold were produced in the Marmato Upper Mine, 47,549 ounces were produced from Segovia. It should be mentioned that during Q1 2024, the combined gold production from the Segovia and Marmato Upper Mines was 44,908 ounces and 5,859 ounces, respectively.
Strong positive operational momentum going into the year is reflected in the quarter's strong production. The business anticipates launching the expanded Segovia processing facility in Q2 of this year, which will fuel further output expansion in the upcoming quarters.
Segovia is projected to produce between 210,000 and 250,000 ounces of gold, while the Marmato Upper Mine is expected to produce between 20,000 and 25,000 ounces. The company's full year 2025 production projection is between 230,000 and 275,000 ounces.
Neil Woodyer, CEO of Aris Mining commented that the company kicked off 2025 with strong momentum, with Q1 production coming slightly ahead of its budget target.
