Eldorado Delivered Robust Gold Output in 2024, Surpassing Guidance
The Lamaque Complex in Canada delivered record gold production both in the fourth quarter and for the year.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Eldorado Gold Corporation reported 520,293 ounces of preliminary gold production for the entire year of 2024, a 7% increase over 2023. The production exceeded the middle of the tighter guidance range of 505,000 to 530,000 ounces that was originally provided. Meanwhile, the Lamaque Complex and Kisladag saw robust production, which drove the Q4 2024 provisional gold production of 155,669 ounces.
In the fourth quarter and for the entire year, the Lamaque Complex in Canada produced gold at a record rate. In Q1 2025, the business anticipates pouring its one millionth ounce of gold, marking a significant milestone.

Kisladag in Turkiye saw a notable 37% rise in gold production in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter. In Q1 of current year, the business anticipates a lower output quarter. Efemcukuru, its second mine in Turkey, produced gold in Q4 at a rate comparable to the third quarter. For ten years in a row, the mine met its annual output targets.
Compared to the previous quarter, Olympias, Greece's fourth-quarter gold production was lower, mostly as a result of decreased throughput brought on by scheduled equipment maintenance and downtime.
The business stated that, albeit more slowly than expected, 82% of the Skouries building had been finished.
