Torex Gold Attained 2024 Gold Production Guidance
The gold sales for Q4 and full year 2024 amounted to 108,647 ounces and 455,932 ounces, respectively, it noted.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The mining firm Torex Gold Resources Inc., based in Toronto, declared that it had met its gold production targets for the preceding year. The company has been successful in meeting its output targets for the sixth year in a row.
According to a corporate news release, 103,795 ounces of gold were produced in Q4 2024. Gold output for the entire year 2024 was 452,523 ounces, which was within the company's previously stated revised projection of 450,000 to 470,000 ounces. It stated that 108,647 ounces of gold were sold in Q4 of 2024 and 455,932 ounces were sold in the entire year.

On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, following market close, the final financial and operational results for the fourth quarter and year-end 2024 will be made public. The next day, the business will hold a conference call to go over the findings.
Jody Kuzenko, President & CEO of Torex, commented on the results, saying that the company had a tough month in December because it lost three of its coworkers at ELG Underground. Operations were halted for over a week as a result of the tragedy. Kuzenko continued, 'The company was able to achieve strong production even with temporary suspension of operations.'
The completion of the Media Luna project, the expected growth of EPO, and the anticipated increase in drilling and exploration investments are the main reasons why the business believes 2025 will be a transformative year.
