Rod Antal, Executive Chairman of SSR Mining, commented on the milestone achievement, saying the business is very proud of the Marigold team for reaching this important milestone. The fact that 5 million ounces of gold were produced over 35 years is evidence of the mine's quality and the team's hard work, he added.

About 3 million ounces of mineral reserves were present at the Marigold mine as of December 31, 2023, indicating a mine life of almost nine years. Over the previous year, the business had planned to invest about $10 million in the mine's expansion. According to Antal, SSR Mining anticipates conducting safe and ethical mining operations at the mine for many more years to come.

The Marigold Mine is situated on the Battle Mountain-Eureka trend in Humboldt and Lander County, Nevada, in the United States. The mine was fully acquired by SSR Mining in April of last year.
