County Commissioners Approve Contract Extension to Continue Electronic Waste Recycling
The extension is for the amount of $120,000 for on-site electronics recycling.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The Board of Mesa County Commissioners approved a third contract extension for the hazardous waste disposal facility at its public hearing on December 10.
The extension is for the amount of $120,000 for on-site electronics recycling.
Each year, the facility recycles over 200,000 pounds of electronic waste that can contain harmful or toxic components and risk contaminating soil and water if not disposed of properly.
If you have older electronic devices that need to be recycled, you can drop them off at the hazardous waste disposal facility Wednesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
