December 13, 2024: Scrap Gold and Silver Prices Dipped, Platinum Up on the Index

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices inched lower by $ 2.81 per Oz.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined marginally as of Friday, December 13, 2024 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of scrap silver too fell whereas Platinum witnessed recovery on the Index.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices were down slightly by $ 2.98 per Oz. The prices of 18-carat and 22 carat gold scrap went down by $ 3.82 per Oz and $4.67 per Oz respectively. 9-carat gold scrap also edged lower by $ 1.91 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap recorded an increase of $ 26.25 per Oz to touch $710.89 per Oz. Silver scrap prices were down by $ 0.02 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices inched lower by $ 2.81 per Oz. The prices of 18-carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went down by $ 3.62 per Oz and $4.42 per Oz respectively. 9-carat gold scrap also declined by $ 1.81 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased modestly by $ 26.25 per Oz. Silver scrap prices dipped by $0.02 per Oz to touch $ 23.29 per Oz on the Index.
