Radius Recycling Appointed Marc Hathhorn as New COO

The leadership shift is consistent with the company's continued efforts to leverage infrastructure investments and global manufacturing growth.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Marc Hathhorn was named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Radius Recycling, Inc., a company based in Portland, Oregon, with effect from November 1, 2024. Hathhorn will report to Radius Recycling, Inc.'s chairman and CEO, Tamara L. Lundgren.

Hathhorn, who most recently served as President-Global Operations at Peabody Energy Corporation, joins Radius. Under his direction, Peabody adopted cost-cutting operational plans, exceeded environmental management and compliance targets, and won numerous safety performance awards. He has almost thirty years of mining sector leadership expertise.

'Marc will help the company advance its progress on operating and financial goals as well as its strategic objectives,' Lundgren said when welcoming Marc to the Radius team. According to her, Marc is a seasoned international leader who has demonstrated success in attaining operational excellence and carrying out expansion plans in companies that deal with commodities.
