Sage Bolstered ITAD Services Footprint with Acquisition of Relectro

The deal is expected to strengthen Sage's range of IT asset disposition (ITAD) services.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Sage Sustainable Electronics, an Ohio-based subsidiary of Closed Loop Partners, has announced the acquisition of Relectro, a Pennsylvania-based electronics repair, refurbishment, and logistics service provider. The deal is expected to strengthen Sage's range of IT asset disposition (ITAD) services.

The two organizations' geographical proximity is likely to increase chances for a fully integrated platform of repair, asset management, reverse logistics, and recycling services. It should be noted that the recently announced repurposing center in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania, is fewer than ten miles from Relectro's Telford, Pennsylvania facility.
