The Healthcare Plastic Recycling Council Added Envetec as its New Member

It is anticipated that the most recent addition will further the Council's numerous efforts to improve healthcare plastics recycling and circularity.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Envetec Sustainable Technologies has become a member of the Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council (HPRC). It is anticipated that the most recent addition will further the Council's numerous efforts to improve healthcare plastics recycling and circularity.

Established in 1921, Tipperary, Ireland-based Envetec employs their pioneering GENERATIONS technology to turn biohazardous waste into lucrative feedstock for plastic recycling. Modern technology provides a long-term substitute for antiquated therapeutic approaches. It employs a non-thermal, biodegradable chemical process to transform waste into material with a high polymer content, which is then used to create new products.

According to Conor Connolly, vice president of business development at Envetec, the company's goal of bringing about significant change in the healthcare sector is in line with its decision to join HPRC. Circular solutions are desperately needed for the treatment of biohazardous waste. Connolly continued, 'The company aims to create significant opportunities to strengthen the recycling infrastructure by creating valuable feedstock for recyclers.'

In its quest to create a more sustainable future for healthcare plastics, Envetec's inventive, clean technology offers another path to investigate, according to Peylina Chu, Executive Director of HPRC.
