September 25, 2024: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum Prices Edged Higher on the Index

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices were up by $ 3.22 per Oz on the Index.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices – both hallmarked and non- hallmarked increased as of Wednesday, September 25, 2024 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of scrap silver and platinum also were on the rise on the Index.

The price of 14-carat gold scrap went higher by $3.41 per ounce in the Hallmarked category. The cost of 18-carat gold increased by $4.37 per pound. The price of 22-carat gold scrap was up by $5.33 per ounce. Moreover, 9-carat gold scrap increased by $2.18 per ounce. Platinum scrap had a little price increase of $9.48 per ounce to $711.62 per ounce. The price of scrap silver increased by $0.20 per ounce.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices were up by $ 3.22 per Oz on the Index. The prices of 18-carat and 22 carat gold scrap went up by $ 4.13 per Oz and $ 5.05 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also recorded an increase of $ 2.07 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw an increase of $ 9.48 per Oz. In the meantime, silver scrap prices edged higher by $0.18 over the previous day.
