steeluniversity Unlocked Registration for steelChallenge-19

The Regional Championships are slated to begin at 12:00 UTC on November 26, 2024.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): steeluniversity, the education and training programme of the World Steel Association (worldstel) announced that registrations for the 19^th edition of steelChallenge are now open. The registration can now be done at www.steeluniversity.org, which in turn will grant them access to simulations, 3D models, e-learning courses, video tutorials, forum and support desk.

steelChallenge is a learning programme recognised by the global steel community. It presents rare opportunity for students and industry professionals to showcase their talents to make the best quality steel using low-cost techniques.

The Regional Championships are set to begin at 12:00 UTC on November 26, 2024. The participants will be given 24 hours to complete successful runs of the steelmaking simulators to produce the required steel.

The competition will be conducted in two categories- student and industry, across five regions- Americas, Europe& Africa, Asia-West, Asia- North and Asia-East & Oceania. The winners of each region and category will be invited to participate in the World Championship.
