22nd August, 2024: Scrap Gold and Silver Prices Dipped, Platinum Recorded Increase on Index

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 18.04 per Oz.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined modestly as of Thursday, August 22^nd on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of scrap silver too fell whereas Platinum witnessed recovery on the Index.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 18.04 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap went down by $ 23.14 and $ 28.26 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also edged lower by $ 11.57 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap recorded an increase by $ 7.29 per Oz to touch $707.25 per Oz. Silver scrap prices were down by $ 0.17 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices inched lower by $ 17.07 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went down by $ 21.88 and $ 26.72 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also declined by $ 10.94 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased modestly by $ 7.29 per Oz. Silver scrap prices dipped by $0.15 per Oz to touch $ 21.60 per Oz on the Index.
