E.C Aluminum Wire prices inched lower by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.
TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap metal prices tumbled on ScrapMonster Price Index as on December 6th, Wednesday. Brass, Bronze and Copper scrap prices declined on Index. Aluminum scrap prices recorded decline over the previous day. Meantime, Steel and Stainless Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
The price of Alternator scrap witnessed no change on Index. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were down by $0.04 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright too dropped by $0.04 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery were down by $0.01 per Lb over the day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too dropped by $0.01 per Lb on Index. #3 Copper-Light copper prices tumbled by $0.04 per Lb from previous day’s level.
The prices of Copper Radiator scrap witnessed downmove by $0.01 per Lb from previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap and CuYokes prices were unchanged over the previous day.
Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices too were flat when compared with the previous day.
Also, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe witnessed no change on December 6th, 2023.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores prices were down by $0.01 per Lb each on Index.
The price of Romex Wire dropped by $0.01 per Lb during the day.
The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights saw no change in prices from the day before.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
1100 Scrap prices inched lower by $0.01 per Lb over the day. The prices of 3003 Scrap were down by $0.01 per Lb on Index. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions too declined by $0.014 per Lb each.
The prices of 6061 Extrusions recorded decline of $0.01 per Lb over the day.
Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap and 6063 Extrusions/Fe dipped by $0.01 per Lb each when compared with the previous day.
The prices of Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe were flat on Index. Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices recorded no change over the day. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices too held steady on December 6th, 2023.
Chrome Wheels were down by $0.01 per Lb on Index.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices inched lower by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.
Litho Sheets and MLC Clips were down by $0.01 per Lb each from previous day’s levels.
Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb.
The prices of Old Sheet, Old Cast, Zorba and UBC saw dip by $0.01 per Lb each over the previous day.
Painted Siding prices too were down by $0.01 per Lb each.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 Bundle and #1 Busheling prices recorded no change over the previous day.
The prices of #1 HMS too were flat on 6th December, 2023.
HMS 80/20 prices held steady on Index.
Sheet Metal prices posted no variation.
Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel prices also were unchanged in comparison with the previous day.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices were flat on Index.
301 SS, 304 SS Solid, 304 SS Turning and 309 SS prices witnessed no change in prices on December 6th, 2023.
310 SS prices were unchanged on a daily basis.
330 SS prices were flat when compared with the prior day.
Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices too held steady on Index.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region declined on Index.
70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap, 85/15 Brass Scrap and Brass Radiator scrap prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb each on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023.
Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends prices were unchanged on Index.
Red Brass, Red Borings and Yellow Brass prices declined by $0.01 per Lb each.
