U.S. Lumber Sales Up 1.2% in September
Lumber inventories amounted to $30,215 million, show 1.1% increase.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): U.S. wholesale sector increased by 2.2% in September 2023, and were up 0.9% from the revised September 2022 level with total sales reaching $678.1 billion, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
U.S. lumber sales total $18,485 million, or 1.2% increase month-to-month in September.
Lumber inventories amounted to $30,215 million, show 1.1% increase.
The September inventories/sales ratio for lumber was 1.63. The September 2022 ratio was 1.61.
