20th September, 2023-North American Scrap Metal Prices Dropped on Index
Cu Yokes prices reported no change over the previous day.
TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap metal prices witnessed marginal decline on ScrapMonster Price Index as on September 20th, 2023. Copper and Stainless Steel scrap prices recorded decline on Index. Steel and and Brass/Bronze scrap prices registered no change. Also, Aluminum scrap prices remained flat on Index.
The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing declined by $0.04 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.04 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright edged lower by $ 0.04 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices witnessed no change on Index over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were flat. #3 Copper-Light copper prices inched lower by $0.04 per Lb.
The prices of Copper Radiator scrap witnessed decline by $0.01 per Lb on Index.
Copper Transformer Scrap remained unchanged.
Cu Yokes prices reported no change over the previous day.
Cu/Al Radiator Ends and Cu/Al Radiators remained stable on September 20th, 2023.
Cu/Al Radiators/Fe, Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater Cores prices held steady over the day.
Romex Wire prices too were flat on Index.
The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Starters, Sealed units and Xmas Lights reported no change from previous day price levels.
1100 Scrap prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 3003 Scrap too were flat on Index. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe too were unchanged.
The prices of 6063 Extrusions held steady over the day.
Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions remained flat when compared with the prior day.
The prices of Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe remained unchanged over the day. Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices held steady. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged on September 20th, 2023.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices recorded no change on Index.
Chrome Wheels, Litho Sheets and MLC Clips held steady at previous day price levels.
Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices too remained unchanged.
The prices of Old Cast and UBC witnessed no change over the previous day.
Old Sheet, Painted Siding and Zorba 90% NF prices too held flat.
#1 Bundle prices remained flat.
The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too reported no change on September 20th, 2023.
HMS 80/20 prices held steady on Index.
Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also saw no change in prices when compared with the previous day.
201 SS prices reported no change.
301 SS and 304 SS Solid prices inched lower by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.
304 SS Turning witnessed a dip by $0.01 per Lb in prices on September 20th, 2023.
309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices declined by $0.01 per Lb on a daily basis.
310 SS prices were down by $0.02 per Lb from the prior day.
Meantime, 330 SS prices too recorded decline by $0.03 per Lb on Index.
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region witnessed no change on Index.
70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap, 85/15 Brass Scrap and Brass Radiator scrap prices were unchanged on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023.
Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends prices maintained the previous day price levels.
Red Brass, Red Borings and Yellow Brass prices recorded no change on Index.
