Graphic Packaging Announced Robust Q1 2022 Results
The net sales increased 36% to $2,245 million in the first quarter of 2022, compared to $1,649 million in the prior year period.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Graphic Packaging Holding Company reported strong first quarter 2022 results. The company delivered organic sales growth, margin expansion and significant surge in EBITDA over the previous year during the quarter.

According to company press release, it reported net income for first quarter 2022 of $107 million, or $0.35 per share. This compares with first quarter 2021 net income of $54 million, or $0.19 per share. The adjusted EBITDA stood at $350 million, compared with $240 million in the prior year quarter. The earnings per diluted share too were up significantly from $0.19 in the prior year quarter to $0.35 this quarter. Also, the adjusted earnings per diluted share surged from $0.27 to $0.48 over the previous year.
The net sales increased 36% to $2,245 million in the first quarter of 2022, compared to $1,649 million in the prior year period. The boosted demand for innovative fiber-based packaging solutions and the company’s expansion into new market segments and geographies contributed to 3% surge in net organic sales during Q1 2022.
