PureGold Declared Production Highlights for Third Quarter
PureGold continued ramp-up of production from the east ramp area of the flaghip Red Lake mine, which has become a key contributor to the company’s gold production.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Pure Gold Mining Inc. announced production highlights and milestones for the third quarter of the year. It also provided operational update for its Red Lake, Ontario mine.
The average daily throughput of 685 tpd for the quarter was significantly higher by 35% over the prior quarter, mainly triggered by increased stope access and mill upgrades. Higher grades and increased tonnage led to 54% quarter-on-quarter rise in gold production to 9,260 ounces. The average mill head grade too surged higher by 15% to 4.8 g/t Au. Meantime, the average mill recovery rate of 94.7% was in line with the expectations, said the company press release.

The production is expected to see significant growth over the coming quarters. The East Ramp development averaged 2.7 metres per day during the quarter.
Darin Labrenz, President & CEO of PureGold commented that the company recorded quarter-over-quarter improvements in ore production, underground development rates, and mill head grades during Q3. The company expects mill throughput and mill head grades to continue trending positively through the end of 2021 and into 2022, he added.
