AISI Declared Prestigious Winners of 2021 Market Development Awards

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) presented the 2021 Market Development Awards. The awards, established in 2007, recognize individuals for significant contributions to advancing the competitive use of steel products in the marketplace.
Richard (Rick) Haws, P.E., engineer, RBH Consulting LLC and David Stoddard, senior applications engineer at SSAB Americas received the 2021 Market Development Achievement Awards. The winner of the 2021 Market Development Industry Leadership Award was Dajun Zhou, Ph.D., manufacturing specialist, Stellantis North America, said AISI press release.

The awards were presented by Leon Topalian, Chairman, AISI during the General Meeting held at the InterContinental Hotel–The Wharf in Washington, DC.
Topolian said that AISI is pleased to recognize the leadership and commitment of Rick, David and Dajun to using steel to meet marketplace challenges. Their valuable contributions have brought in transformative changes in the building construction, bridge and auto industries. He also appreciated the lasting contributions made by them to ensure that steel remains the material of choice in the auto and construction sectors.
