Mail-In Electronics Recycling Program Join Hands with Leading Soccer Teams
The fans could visit the Done with IT site to select an appropriate recycling product.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The Electronics Reuse & Recycling Alliance (TERRA) announced that two professional soccer teams have partnered with its Done with IT mail-in recycling program. The Portland Timbers and the Portland Thorns FC will now provide their fans in the U.S. and Canada with sustainable electronics recycling options.
In accordance with the partnership, a portion of the collected devices will be distributed to eligible students in Portland and surrounding communities. This will enable the students to participate in remote learning, which has now become an order of the day due to coronavirus-based restrictions.
