EERA Announces Changes to Top Leadership

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The European Electronics Recycling Association (EERA) announced appointment of Kurt Kyck as its new president. He takes over from Rasmus Bergstrom. The decision was taken the EERA board meeting held last Wednesday in Amsterdam.
Kyck is the managing director of KMK Metals Recycling- one of Ireland’s leading metals and electronic scrap recycling company, which processes nearly three-fourths of Ireland’s e-scrap.

Commenting on his appointment, Kyck expressed great pleasure to be elected to the prestigious position. The primary focus lies on progressing EERA’s aim to create circular economy. Furthermore, he will work towards establishment of a level-playing field for WEEE industry participants in the European region.
Also, Esteban Marijuan Requesta, general manager of Spanish Indumetal Recycling was appointed as vice president.
