SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): J.D. Irving's Pulp & Paper and Tissue mills in Saint John, N.B., are temporarily closed for maintenance works. Furthermore, it will sustain all the mill jobs and local suppliers who have been associated with the company's success over the past several years.
Long time contractors connected with Irving Pulp & Paper projects including Scott and Trevor Chadwick have praised the maintenance shutdown projects, stating that they will help Irving rebuild their mills so as to remain competitive in future. They hope to continue their good relationship with Irving in future.
