Interfor's Long-Time President and CEO Duncan Davies Steps Down
Ian Fillinger, currently the Company’s Senior Vice President & COO, has been appointed President & CEO effective January 1, 2020.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Interfor Corporation announced that long-time President and CEO Duncan Davies will step down on December 31, 2019. He will step down from his role as a director of the Company effective that date. Meantime, he will continue to remain in an advisory capacity until the end of 2020.
Ian Fillinger, currently the Company’s Senior Vice President & COO, has been appointed President & CEO effective January 1, 2020. He will also serve on the Company’s Board of Directors.

Lawrence Sauder, Chairman, Interfor, on behalf of the Company’s Board of Directors thanked Duncan for his contributions to the Company. He also welcomed Ian to his new role.
Mr. Davies joined the Company in 1998. He was appointed President in December 1998 and CEO in February 2000. He has played a key role in transforming the Company over the past 20 years into the world’s 4th largest lumber company.
